今天我们要介绍一位非常低调的中国Pro_Am车手,保时捷北京长安&金港车队的车手李超。他在网上过于低调,以至于你搜不到他一丝一毫的个人信息,唯一知道的是他的生日很好记,8 月 8 日,和天后王菲同一天。今年是他在PCCA的第七个年头。

Today, we’re going to present you, a Chinese Pro-Am driver, who’s pretty low key. He’s Porsche Beijing Chang’an&Golden Port Racing Team’s driver, LI Chao. The reason we called him ‘Low Key’ is because we couldn’t find a lot of personal info of him on the internet. But we know his birthday, 8th of August. This is his 7th year with PCCA. 

我们采访了他,这个从30岁才开启赛车之路,却在PCCA开了将近100场比赛的男人,到底是什么这么吸引着他孜孜不倦?李超笑着表示,PCCA是一个非常高水平的赛事,也是一个非常公平的赛事。从30岁才开始赛车,从生理上和心理上,已经很难去挑战年轻车手了。但因此也更懂得享受比赛的过程,更明白超越自我的价值。有没有在每场比赛中都有进步,有没有学到东西,这才是他最在乎的。达到什么高度不重要,有没有超越自己才更重要。而跟亦敌亦友的对手缠斗,从对方身上看到那种永不言败、不断超越自我的赛车精神,让他受益匪浅。

We have interviewed him, to figure out what attracted this gentleman to join the PCCA and to race for nearly 100 rounds. Don’t forget he started his racing career when he was 30 years old. He responded us, “First of all, PCCA is a quite fair competition with high level. Starting a racing career when i was 30 made me have to face some problems, for example, it’s hard to compete with the youth generation of driver. But the other side, I can enjoy the race purely. It’s more like to race against myself. What I care more is making progress and learning something new in each race. It’s not about reaching some kind of level, It’s just about to challenge myself and overtake myself. The rivals in the track are more like my friends and tutors. Also, the way this guys race, is also inspired me.” 

问到Pro-Am和Pro车手的区别,他说:“Pro-Am和Pro车手在心态上并没有任何分别,大家都想赢。虽然技术上又差距,但对赛车的热爱和赛车精神并没有差别。”

We also ask him about the difference between Pro-Am driver and Pro driver, he says, ‘Mental part, we don’t have any differences, we all want to win the race. But we do in the different levels of capability, but we all love racing and have enthusiasm about this.” 

谈到我们和欧洲的差距,李超则表示:“差距肯定存在,欧洲车手平均水准要比我们高,这是事实。赛车运动的普及,汽车工业的发展,我们都慢了一步。但是从各方面条件来说,我们一点也不输给欧洲人,所以我们很快就会赶上来。尤其在电动车等方面,我们已经开始弯道超车,我们也看到很多年轻车手已经冲了出来。相信我们很快就能追上欧洲,甚至超过他们。”

About the gap between our drivers and the European race drivers, he said, ‘There exists a gap indeed, they got higher level of competition. We started this in China pretty late compared to Europe. But we will decrease this gap quickly. A lot of Chinese young talents is raising. I believe we could reach the European guys, or even overtake them!” 

最后他表示,他会继续追随着PCCA,再跑100场,甚至更多……

At last, he said that, he would still race in PCCA, for another 100 races, or more than that…
